ChatGPT with Vision Arrives in Europe

ChatGPT's real-time view mode, which allows the chatbot to "see" the world via the smartphone camera, has finally been launched in the European Union.

OpenAI has made the functionality available to users in the EU, including Portugal, following its initial launch in December 2024.

In addition to EU countries, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland also received the appeal.

This update integrates with the Advanced Voice mode of the ChatGPT mobile app.

The new capability offers a preview of the future of AI assistants, where computer vision will become a common tool.
